During the daily commute to the office, amid the usual traffic in Chișinău, you have the ability to monitor, through a simple mobile application, the activities taking place on your fields in the Hîncești district: the status of agricultural works, the current soil moisture level, and the tasks scheduled for employees that day.
After completing his higher education in Romania, a young specialist chose to return to the Republic of Moldova, driven by the desire to build something valuable within his own community. Together with his father, he began developing an agricultural activity based on a forward-looking vision. NM presents how digital technologies are contributing to the transformation of a traditional economic sector and how farmers are gradually adopting modern solutions for managing agricultural operations.
The village of Ciuciuleni, located in the Hîncești district, is situated approximately 55 km from the municipality of Chișinău. At first glance, the locality does not stand out through any remarkable features. According to statistical data, the village has a population of just over four thousand inhabitants. Previously, the area had limited digital resources and restricted access to modern technologies. However, today, it is precisely here that the Tașcă family farm is gradually being 'rebuilt'—a household now managed almost entirely through a mobile application.
